It took a year for my therapist to say, “I’m starting to see a change in you.”

It took a year for my therapist to say, “I’m starting to see a change in you.”
It took 8 months of hearing the same message from my mentor before it finally clicked.

Yet we want to rush healing.

We don’t rush kids learning to walk.
We don’t say, “You know what? You’ve tried this countless times by now, I don’t think you’re a walker.” 🤪
We don’t stop reminding them not to stick their fingers in sockets either.

But when it comes to our own decades-old habits, beliefs, or protective patterns, we expect instant results.
Some of us are as unrealistic as expecting to get it right the first time.

Shocking. And kind of unfair, isn’t it?

I learned from Gabor Maté that:
💫 “Only when compassion is present can people begin to heal.”

Makes sense now why all those years I spent blaming, judging, and “having a low tolerance for mistakes” didn’t get me very far.

In fact, the more I blamed parts of myself, the more they shut down.

Just like in a relationship, if we meet our partner with judgment, we get defense. Walls. Disconnection.
But if we meet them with curiosity and openness, “maybe even their hurtful behavior was well-intended”,

The conversation changes.

Same with our parts, addictions, and destructive habits,
What if they actually had a good, protective role to play?
And our role is to understand how, and fulfill that need in a healthier way.

This way we can finally move from blaming to resolving. And from shame to healing.

✨✨✨

In the world of psychedelics, a lot can happen in a ceremony.
But the heart closes back down, our energy drops to an old standard of contraction, and we return to lives and minds that are distracted, scattered, and often times directionless.

That’s why integration is everything.

The long-term process that follows the journey to catalyze lasting change through ongoing remembrance and application of insights.

🌖 That’s why I created the Integration Experience, (which is really an Incubator) —and why it’s now evolving from 3 to 6 months.

Because change takes time and repetition.
And I want to be honest about that.

💫 It is through our commitments that we transform ourselves.
Through the no-exit plan, like in a marriage, that we give ourselves the GIFT of NOT QUITTING when it gets hard, when we don’t feel like it, and become the kind of person who follows through on their word to themselves.

✨ I’ve just taken down the application form and only allow people into this program after connecting with them personally.
I want to make sure that the people who join this container are the ones who will genuinely benefit from it and contribute to it. If you’re called to learn more, send me a message.
Let’s schedule a 1:1 call.
I’d love to meet you, hear your intentions and vision, and explore whether this is the right next step for you. 💛
